The look on her face and the relaxed position of her body could have been from the pages of sleeping beauty. The medical scanners and restraint straps around her body, however, shattered that serene image into a thousand pieces. Though as angelic as she might look, the many monitors about her body made it seem as though she were some weird science experiment pulled directly from the Twilight Zone.
The steady beat of a heart monitor seemed to pull her from the deep sleep that had overtaken her. Her eyes fluttered open, but soon found themselves pinching shut. The harsh glare of the overhead lighting pierced into her brain as she tried once more to open them. The hazy reflection upon her cool blue eyes showing her confusion as she slowly adjust to her surroundings.
The fog of her mind still remained as she tried to comprehend what was going on. Diana had woken from a bliss filled dream to find herself in some sort of nightmare. As the memories of the previous day finally worked their way into her groggy consciousness, she let out a gasp.
Out of instinct she tried to bolt up in the bed. The restraints held her in place, causing her to barely rise off the bed. Falling back onto the bed, Diana looked down upon her body. Several straps covered her body. Over her chest, abdomen, thighs and lower legs, the black bands of nylon gave no slack. Even her wrists and ankles were held by some sort of restraint as well.
Upon survey of her body did she realized that all her clothing had been removed and she was now dressed into a white tunic of some kind. Ra would indeed pay for such an insult. To first attack and now violate her honor by placing in this condition, he would be lucky to get out alive.
Her eyes flickered and her head turned the best she could as Diana continued her survey of the surroundings. The equipment in the room was nothing she had seen before, and the interior of the room itself seemed rather odd. What sort of facility was Ra hiding and where did he get this sort of technology? It seemed he was going to be answering a lot of questions.
Turning her head, she noticed a window with several humanoid slaves peering in. Their white jackets seemed to be the only similarity about them. She noted that they were of different races and sex. Obviously Ra was filling this place with many types of slaves. It was an odd move for him, and Diana felt rather perplexed.
Letting out a growl, her voice resonated throughout the room. Her head fell back onto her pillow as she spoke out. Though rough from lack of moisture in her throat, her voice still carried. “I demand to be released at once!” She yelled out. “Ra needs to explain this outrage!” In her anger she spoke out in her native tongue. The ancient Greek words rolled easily off her lips and into the air. Not looking up, Diana did not see the confused expressions of the medical staff. They had not understood a word she had said and they should not have. Her language was dead and having not heard anyone speak, Diana made the only assumption that she could that these medical slaves, like Ra, could speak her own tongue.

CJ was poised over the body of the dead Jaffa off in one of the morgue like bays designated for such. Still in the process of running the bioscanner over hardening flesh, the doctor observed that death set in just like with her own kind. The scanner was just about to uncover what the Jaffa's pouch held when her headset chimed in her ear. Herman's fresh voice piped up, always the jumpy one when something disturbing happened. The poor boy needed to get used to it around here, she had a feeling. Being a part of this organization was belief challenging, but nothing the opinionated doctor couldn't handle, now as for her colleagues...
"Dr. Jacobi, you asked me to alert you... " He started off in her ear. One hand on the scanner still, the other slipped up against her ear, tapping the com open, then went back to its work with the scanner. Her voice rang out, cutting him off, eyes focused on the readings of the machine infront of her.
"... when our guest comes to. I will be there in a moment Dr. Xavier." With that the com stopped signaling, unless CJ decided to speak again. Her calm, driven nature issued forth as she drew a soft breath, finishing the scan of the pouch. Of course she noted the small dead parasitic like creature curled within, not much of a surprise. If the auburn haired woman had one, then she assumed this one would too. What concerned her was the difference in location. This day would be an endless round of learning and observation no doubt.
CJ discarded her gloves in the proper receptacle as she stepped away from the dead guard. Upon making her way to the other area of the medical unit, she heard the roaring, distorted voice shout in some language she had never heard. Interns were staring at the princess like woman in awe and shock. One firm look from Carolina stirred them into action, most finding their own things to work on and other team members to attend to.
Herman accompanied her to Diane's side, CJ first looking over the equipment registering vitals before turning her eyes to the obviously angered being. "She's humanoid even in the most basic systems... " Herman observed from across the bed. CJ's eyes met his, her gaze cool. The boy still had a lot to learn about his bedside manner. "That, is... something we knew already Dr. Xavier." She ignored him for now, looking to Diane wondering best how to approach her. One thing was certain, no sign of weakness would be shown. This being was someone of importance, simply by the way she held herself. CJ was no grunt herself, and there were some knowns about lines that the team had crossed. She wouldn't apologize for holding the woman, CJ wanted answers, and she had to be treated as a hostage to get such.
CJ did have a heart under it all though, she wouldn't harm to get what she wanted, unless she was shown aggression first. Firm tones snaked through her normal bedside manner. "Calm down." Regardless of if the woman could speak English, CJ continued speaking. "You were injured, we had to stabilize you. You are safe now." For now, CJ's mind continued. "Were injured" also being the operative word, as far as CJ could tell she was almost healed from the injuries Herman originally recorded on Abados. "What is your name?"
First things first, start out with the small talk. If Diane reiterated those demands in a language that CJ could understand, she might want to start calling in the diplomats. Probably would have been a good idea to have them here in the first place. BUT, the woman was still in the process of recovering, no need to start negotiations until she had a clear head. Eyes flicked over to the machine patterning Diane's brain waves, not so dissimilar to humans still, CJ had noticed a small anomaly even though she was steps away from the fluttering paper. Correcting herself, CJ looked to Diane again. "What are your name(s)?" Pluralizing, guessing... CJ kept it from her tone though. Intelligent parasites? THIS is why she wanted one of them alive.

Diana has tilted her head up once more, glaring through the glass at the medics. Her stare was much like a predatorily cat looking into a fish bowl and pondering which one to attach first. It was obvious that she was not happy. If looks could have killed, each one of the medics would have been vaporized by now.
The door opened and Diana’s head instantly turned to watch a woman and one of the medics appear. They moved towards her slowly. Though the female doctor showed confidence in her walk, the male at her side looked as though her were ready to make a run for it. Even though his uneasy nature slightly amused her, Diana’s face was cold. Ice would have been warmer than the stare she was giving the two that entered the room.
Hearing the male speak, Diana’s mind tried to process what she was hearing. It was a new language, something she had previously not known. Apparently, during her unconscious time, she had traveled through a Stargate. But where had Ra taken her? All of this was still rather perplexing.
When the female spoke, Diana eyes flickered to her. Holding the same cold stare, Diana listened rather too quietly. This woman obviously held some sort of authority over the others. Maybe it was possible to speak to Ra through this one.
Ignoring the questions that were asked of her, Diana quickly turned demanding again. This time, she spoke in English. Though foreign on her tongue, she mastered the language quite quickly and spoke as though she knew it all along. “Release me. I demand to see Ra at once!” The reverberation of her voice continued to echo through the room, drowning out the monitors that beeped and chirped behind her.
Holding up one of her restrained hands, she pulled it outward from her body as far as she could. Hands clenched in a fist, she waited for the woman to come over and release her. As a slave of Ra, Diana was sure that the woman would follow her directions as well.

CJ's cool gaze broke just slightly as Diana answered back in the English tongue. She may have been new to Alternity and the base of knowledge that had already been gathered by Max's teams, but she knew of the powers of the Gate to transfer/absorb languages. Of what she knew, it took several travels or at least some extended attention post travels, to fully learn semantics. Further proof of the advanced biology of Diane's species.
Now, how to play this. The thought pondered while the blonde tressed woman worked. CJ ignored the fire haired woman's requests at first, going over her thorough exam of the read outs that had transpired while she was unconscious. Training glazed her features automatically as she went to work, her stature and tone without warmth. She wasn't the coddling type of doctor, even her staff knew that. The heart was there, when symptoms or conditions lead to less than pleasant outcomes, but this wasn't one of those situations. Part of this was ingrained by obvious military precision as well.
Within moments CJ had finished her processing of the readouts and had neared Diana on the gurney. The second she stressed the restraints she nodded to Herman. Herman reached quickly and adjusted the held wrist so that the restraint was tight, movement constrained even more. Demand filled CJ's tone as she firmly bit back, "Remain still and you might get what you want. You will answer my questions first." Namely, who is Ra? d**n she wished she had one of the historians here with her, or at least one of the archeologists to explain this. Of what she knew, Ra was an Egyptian god...given what they found on Abados, it seemed like they had gone back in time almost literally. This changed her entire perspective on everything she learned in school.
Focusing back on the matters at hand, CJ leveled her gaze on Diana. One hand reached up, pushing the harsh surgical light out of her line of sight. It was a small gesture of good will. Gloved hands reached for Diane's forehead, physically examining the temples and muscles of her face and neck. She was out cold, scanners pointed to a concussion, but she was seemingly over that now. "You have a parasite..." CJ, indicating by pointing to her own neck, "You were also unconscious, suffering a concussion. It healed you, didn't it?" If that didn't make it clearly obvious to Diana that she was among strangers, she wasn't sure what would. Not that CJ tried hiding that fact, if she had any hostage holding skills, she'd have known not to start with questions like that.
***
Eyes flicking away, Diana watched as the strap of her arm restraint was tightened. Had she had her full strength she would have possibly been able to break her bindings. The toll on her body from her injuries, though, prevented her from being at her full potential. Even with her vitals returning to ‘normal’, it would be a while before Diana was in peak condition.
Diana grew impatient as she watched the woman move away and look over her technology. Irritation showed clearly on her features. This slave was trying her patients. Ra needed to learn how to control his people. It was clear now why the Goa’uld could not do anything on his own. He was surrounded by incompetence.
Clearly ready to retort with another demand, Diana was thrown slightly when she was referred to as a parasite. Surely this woman was joking. A servant of Ra, obviously that of a primitive medical profession, should know of her God and his abilities. Obviously the same would transfer to Diana, she was of the same species.
Head resting upon the pillow, Diana was silently grateful that the light was moved. It had become increasingly harder to concentrate with the spot light clearly drilling into her vision. Diana would never say thank you, but in the back of her mind she did registered something like gratitude. d**n, maybe she hit her head harder than she thought.
Still ignoring any questions asked of her, Diana continued with her own badgering. “Where have you taken me? What is this place?”
When she was free of this place, Diana would be back and with her men. She would make sure that Ra lost this facility at all costs. Maybe it would be viewed as a blessing to him. Diana would not even use these primitive tools on her own people, let alone herself. And the thought that they had forcibly used them on her made her skin almost break out in an allergic rash.
***
CJ might not be a pro when it came to hostage control, but she certainly wasn't innocent about it. She had heard enough prisoner of war type stories to glean tactics however. When the demanding questions came up, she knew enough not to answer Diana directly. Hands stopped their examination of her extremities when the woman pushed back into the pillow. Authority still leveled in her tone, CJ cracked something of a sarcastic smile, though it stuck only at the corners of her lips. "Where is not your concern, what is... well this is a medical facility."
The relaxed nature of the red-tressed woman gave CJ her insight. Guards were loosening, as could also be told by the beeps of the machines behind her. Heart rates had dropped slightly, which indicated a slight decrease in stress. Blood pressure would follow, CJ noted as she looked to the machine measuring that, eyes coming back to bear on Diana within a moment. "Answer my questions and I will answer yours."
One hand moved to the light again, threatening to increase her discomfort once more. There were other ways that could be done, but it would go against everything that had earned CJ her license and she wasn't ready to push that just yet.
Negotiating out of the restrains could be done, should Diana develop a solid level of trust with the staff. CJ had noticed the start of the red systemic discomfort from Diana skin, but she would not voice choices of being released just yet. The more she stirred, the more CJ would let her stew. It could definitely be used to the doctor's advantage.

Diana’s eyes again looked at the other woman. “I know this is a medical facility.” It was clear that she was no stupid and knew what the instruments were around her. She was not a medic, but Diana knew what the equipment around her was used for. “I wouldn’t even fathom using these primitive tools on my dogs…”
Growing quiet felt the woman’s gloved hands continue on their path, down Diana’s throat and then over the white gown she wore. “I do not answer questions of slaves and to suggest such is insulting.” Looking away from the woman, Diana watched the hands she had previously only felt on her stomach. “What is this planet?” Maybe a more simplified question would be easier for this slave to comprehend.
Still trying to piece together what was going on, Diana noticed that a lot of what was happening did not fit correctly. It seemed to her that the jigsaw puzzle she was trying to put together had none of the correct pieces. The perplexed looks when she mentioned Ra, how this woman talked to her like she was an equal… it really made no sense. Even if it all was completely backward of her own understanding, Diana still thought that Ra had something to do with all of this.
Looking away from the other woman, Diana’s eyes again moved around the room. She was searching for her clothing and her hand device. Her skin suddenly crawled at the idea of slave’s touching her in such a manner. It was improper and when she got back to her Guard, right after putting Tyran in his place, she would be taking a steaming hot bath. Hopefully she could scold away the dirty feeling of being man handled by lower life forms.

Alek pulls her earbuds out of her ear and puts her computer on password protected mode so that no one can mess with it as she grabs the photo's from her desk and walks out of her room heading towards the medical bay, stoping only briefly to grab a book from the team library as she walks into the medbay she looks around for CJ taking a deep, calming, breath as she does she hates hospitals and doctors ever since her mothers death
*as her laptop continues to run code permentations based on the scans the team had made on their first outing Alex turned to look at another series of pictures, these were hard copies taken by the doctor of the dead warrior and woman who were brought back through the gate as she glances at them her eye is caught by a symbol, a raised tattoo on the dead mans forhead a series of three crescent moon shapes that looped around and through one another...Alek pauses something about that symbol she could swear she's seen something like that somewhere before.....a few years back she had been looking for tattoo symbols, she had never gotten one but had spent a great deal of time looking for the perfect one and she had seen a symbol like it before.....in a paper online.....d**n why couldn't she remeber the name of it's author...Jefferson or Washinton or something......"Jackson" she exclaims outloud "Daniel Jackson"
*she nods thanks to the interns and head towards the quaranteed area...not going to enter just standing by the glass which she taps lightly at to get CJ's attention and holds up a picture, one that CJ herself had taken of Diana's mark on herself and on the forhead of the dead Jaffa who served her then she flips through the book in her hand and holds it up to the glass as well this time the image if of the wiccan goddess, as borrowed from greek and roman mythology

"Mental capacities are coming back to you then.... " CJ softly muttered the words, more as some sarcasm for herself than for Diana's ears to hear. The quip about her equipment being so primitive struck her as odd, though the tone of the thought didn't break her features. One more insight on the usefulness of this creature before her sprung to mind. Wow she could really use the diplomats right now. She wouldn't get anywhere in negotiations without the right words and this wasn't her dance of choice.
Hearing a tapping at the glass behind her just as Diana mentioned not answering questions of slaves, CJ turned. She looked over shoulder at the book Alek had shoved against the partition, tilting her head for a moment with a puzzle on her face. More ancient markings and connections, just great. Okay. So that gave her the clue about Diana's importance... CJ nodded towards Alek in a thankful manner, bringing a tempered glare back to Diana, brain suddenly awash in a new direction to take this. Ra, she had mentioned this other god. He must be in living form somewhere out there beyond the space of Abados.
"I am no slave. Considering I have you bound, and you will stay as such until I get my answers, you might want to forgive the insult," CJ's tone demeaning the very word, "and give me what I want." Moving more into a threatening stance than one of a caring doctor, Carolina's hands grasped her own waist gently, flicking her gaze to Herman for just a moment. The light above Diana's eyes shifted just slightly, not as direct as when she initially woke up, but enough to cause more discomfort. "This planet... is out of Ra's jurisdiction. He, as well as you, hold no power here. Now. What is your name goddess? And how did you come by that parasite?"
The look on her face threatened one cold medicinal fact: CJ would cut it out of her if she had to; not that she liked that plan, but studies needed to be done. Slow realization that she just broke some severe laws governing her own license came to mind, though she tried to pay it no regard.

The tap on the window tore Diana’s attention for CJ and to the girl behind the glass. The young one seemed excited about something. A photograph was held up, and then another before a book was pressed to the glass with a form of her symbol. Did these people really have no idea as to who she was?
For the first time a perplexed look washed over Diana’s features. Her eyes moved back to CJ for a brief moment before closing when the light was again directed at her face. What dimension has she fallen into? There was no way she had hit the wall that hard to cause a delusion such as this. What planet was she on if it was ‘out of Ra’s jurisdiction?
Taking a deep breath, she calmed herself and again schooled her features. Diana was still to weak to break her bonds. Time was something she needed to give herself. It seemed these people were clueless as to what she was and whom she represented. If they had no affiliation with Ra, then to whom were they affiliated?
“What is the name of this planet?” Again, more questions being unanswered on Diana’s end. If she could figure out her location, even on a planetary scale, she might figure out as to what was happening.
***
Alek humphs exasperated as the Doctor pretty much blows off her findings...she does however notice the look of realization and then annoyance that passes over the strange women's face when she see's the symbols she was holding up and that gives her a sense of purpose...she may be a kid but she's not an idiot and she wont be treated like one

With her vocation, patience was definitely a virtue. CJ saw that she would need to employ it here. Also it didn't help that the focused doctor was out of the loop on information. Gathering her thoughts about her, CJ turned her attention away from Diana for a moment, pacing around like she had to check the equipment taking read outs.
She too knew the woman hadn't fully recovered. Once the parasite healed her completely, those restrains wouldn't hold her. CJ didn't like the idea of playing mad scientist and bringing out the medicinal means of restraining the alien...but they would have to be tempted until someone's patience broke. That was her last resort however, since the alien's physiology wasn't completely understood.
CJ stopped her precision filled pacing, thick boots clicking together on the floor as she clasped her hands behind her back. Orbs searched for Diana's, a soft sigh issued forth from the doctor, theatrical exasperation toned the sound. "Answer for answer Goddess." And it was left at that. CJ had the patience of a saint, but did the woman before her? Time, or restrains would tell.
Carolina tapped her headset again, hoping she could use this as a little threat. "Command? I need guards in quarantine." While she called command, Herman checked the restrains, pulling them a little tighter, then followed CJ towards the doors of the glass partition. Once beyond, CJ called into the comm again, tweaking the headset a bit for a direct frequency. "Wallace? I need to speak with you."
CJ stopped Herman a moment, "Stay with her, I need to know if any of her vitals change dramatically." Looking a bit dejected, Herman sighed and went back to his post outside quarantine, waiting for the guards. CJ fell into step beside Alek. "So she's a goddess, that much I surmised. She holds herself as one. My history is a little shallow however, and given this new phase of discovery... do we know why/how she's involved with Ra? She kept bringing that up." All this was spoken while heading back towards her office.

Diana’s lips pursed. This was not going very well and this woman was trying her patience as well. Only few other Goa’uld had the gall to address her like this. This complete loss of control that had washed over her was very unnerving. She didn’t’ like it and wanted to remedy this situation as quickly as possible.
Hearing the boots of the other woman walking back and forth, Diana turned her head and opened her eyes to look at her. Her questions were far more important than this other woman’s. Why did this have to be so difficult? It was not like she was asking to get a complete recitation of the Goa’uld history from creation to now. That would have been a chore and Diana doubted that even she could give such a monologue.
Silence fell over them both like a heavy blanket. Looking away from the other woman, Diana again closed her eyes. Head turned towards the ceiling, she listened to the other woman exit the room. Taking a deep breath, Diana knew she required some more rest before she would be at full strength. Only then would she be able to escape this nightmare and go…. somewhere
The door opened again, and someone walked in. From the sound the shoes made on the hard floor, Diana was guessing it was the male that had accompanied the woman originally into the room. As he got close, Diana could feel him adjust the straps. Playing as though she were asleep, she let him walk about her and check the equipment as she ‘dozed’. He would make a good hostage and meat shield when she broke free. Obvious from how he followed orders so cleanly, it would be easy to manipulate him into doing her bidding.
But until she was able to break free, she would continue to layer there in a comatose like state. Even the monitors fell, showing signs that she had gone to sleep. 12 hours more and she could make her move. Diana’s internal clock continued to count down, the ball figuratively dropping slowly as she ticked away at the seconds to freedom.
The steady beat of a heart monitor seemed to pull her from the deep sleep that had overtaken her. Her eyes fluttered open, but soon found themselves pinching shut. The harsh glare of the overhead lighting pierced into her brain as she tried once more to open them.
