Bio or History :
Dalamar is an elven enchanter. He is a bit of a loner, even among elves, and a bit vain about his growing archery skills. Years ago he fell in love with a human merchant's daughter, and moved to Port Destiny, against all the advice of his friends and family. He worked as a bowyer, and as a guard for the merchant's guild. His wife was an adventurer - a human wizard. He himself dabbled in her art, learning a bit of wizardry. One day she failed to return .... he and her father waited ... months passed. Her father hired agents to try to track her down, and eventually they were successful. They returned with her scant remains. Devastated, Dalamar entered a period of mourning .... a few more years passed (not overly long in elven terms but to the humans it seemed quite long). He became dour and shunned the company of old associates, including his father-in-law. He is beginning to recover his spirits, but only barely. His elven charm is nearly gone. He has sold everything, but gave most of it to his father-in-law (who had over-extended himself searching for his daughter) and intends on wandering the world a bit.
One possession he retains is a small canvas painting of himself and his wife, rolled into an oversized bone scroll case.
He has a strong hatred of dark races, suspecting one of them took his wife from him.
