The central location thus far has been inside the House of the Vitella.
The Dominus of the house is Victor (Duff). His dedication to Rome and sheer passion speaks well amongst the Emperor and to the leaders of foreign nations, particularly the kingdoms of Spain. He has been on frequent trips lasting from 6 months to a few years at a time, which has built a rift between himself and his wife, Kerina. While the Emperor and those outside Rome (Including other Roman cities of note) hold Victor in high regard, his lack of social etiquette and his refusal to resort to trickery has left him behind in the favor race of many senators. Victor yet loves his wife, but fears she does not return the feeling and has forgotten how to express it. He is hoping to stay in the confines of Rome now to reunite with her and correctly raise what he hopes ot be his heir.
Kerina (Nicole), the Domina of the house, has been running the house in his absence, speaking on his behalf, and doing that which Victor refuses to do (or acknowledge her doing) in order to raise the favor of the house. In Victor's absence, she has a Ludus built and acquired a small group of gladiators, but highly skilled, including Verus. She recently found herself with child, but is unsure whether it is that of her husbands, conceived on the night of his return, or Invictus, the captain of the house guard. Victor, not knowing his wife has been unfaithful, prays for a son to carry his name. Invictus, convinced the child must be his, fears for the day the child grows to look like him.
Invictus (Duff) was once loyal to Victor. A grunt in the legion, he was retired early due to weak eyes and ears. Still a strong fighter, he trains twice as hard as any guard ot gladiator in the house, training full regiments with both. He recently found out about the pregnancy and has begun to plot against the man he has grown to hate, out of love for Kerina.
Lissiana (Erica) is the personal attendant of Kerina, deemed a 'bodyslave' to keep her fed, happy, and above all beautiful before the courts. Loyal only to Kerina, she has vowed to perform any task necessary, including against Victor, whom she fears greatly.
Verus (Duff) is a gladiator within the house. He was a champion of a city that was destroyed at the eruption of the volcano at Pompaii. Fortunately, he was with his Dominus (Unnamed - still needs a player) along with 2 other gladiators, a personal guard, and a few slaves. With the destruction of his Dominus' fortune, he had given with the other 2 gladiators to the Dominus' good friend Victor and currently resides within their house to grief the loss of fortune and family.
Aureliana (Cara) is the daughter of a prominent senator and once a close friend of Calista. She has taken to lust after Verus, and wishes to be wed to Praetorius. She has shown much disrespect to Victor, Kerina, and Calista herself.
Calista (Nicole) is the sister of Victor. Freshly returned herself at her brother's summon, she remains loyal to the man who would lay siege to nations at dear little sister's whim. She is the only one who can manipulate the man as such. She plots upon Kerina, and has begun showing signs that she tires of Aureliana holding a higher position over her.
Anori (Nicole) and Lucius (Revel) are rivals of the Vitella house, lovers who which to move into an opening seat of the senate and have realized that the Vitella house could become a threat to their power.
Praetorius (Needs a player) is the Captain of Rome's 2nd Legion, a position once held by Victor in his youth, and is a golden child amongst all the major political players of the city. While he remains loyal to Victor from times of war together, Victor has underrated him many times in his own vie for favor. Praetorius has never strived for politics before, but his observation of Victor has made him realize he had best capitalize on the high favor the senate holds for him rather than strive of military glory as Victor did.
Also in the Vitella house are greek slave (Shelley) who leans loyalty more to Victor than Kerina, and a gardener (Dan)
